Low tungsten light spills through a small window, casting warm pools on the rough canvas of a circus tent backdrop in Victoria, Seychelles. The rainy season hangs heavy outside, hinted at by the dark, dramatic clouds pressing against the tent fabric. Inside the dimness, a traditional puppet show setup waits behind a translucent screen. Wooden rods and colorful fabric figures rest in stillness, their painted faces catching the faint glow. The close-up view reveals the texture of the aged cloth and the delicate joints of the puppets. One shadow stretches across the floor, marking the edge of the light.
