Shadow Puppet Screen in Fez Jazz Club Courtyard

Ivory fabric stretches taut across a wooden frame in the center of a narrow Fez courtyard, glowing softly as the late summer sun dips toward the horizon. Fine rain falls in thin, translucent threads, catching the dimming light and darkening the surrounding zellige tile walls. The screen stands silhouetted against the fading sky, its surface marked by the faint, rhythmic shapes of shadow puppets being manipulated from behind. Wet stone absorbs the last warmth of the day, reflecting a cool, muted tone. Along the edges of the frame, water droplets rest on the wood, while the fabric hums with a quiet, ceremonial stillness. at the edge is a single shadow finger pressing against the glowing cloth, distorting the light into a sharp, dark arc.
