Predawn Face by Observatory Window Red Light

Rain-dampened glass frames a face illuminated by the deep crimson glow of a red-safe lamp. Cracks spiderweb across the upper left corner of the window pane, distorting the faint horizon line beyond. The subject stands in profile, eyes fixed on the dark sky outside, their features carved by the low-angle red light. Condensation beads on the glass surface, merging with the wet air of the rainy season. The cracked edge of the frame casts a sharp, jagged shadow across the forehead. Behind the glass, the faint outline of a launch structure stands against the predawn darkness.
