Pineapple Field Under Rain in Jaén Autumn

Green spiky crowns of pineapples dominate a tight close-up view near Jaén during early autumn. Steady rain creates a sheet of water that blurs the background while droplets rest on the serrated leaves. The flat glare of noon light struggles through the canopy, casting dappled shadows across the wet surfaces. Water beads roll down the tough, fibrous texture of the fruit, catching the gray sky. The wild untamed energy of the plants is visible in the way the leaves twist and overlap without order. One raindrop hangs from the tip of a lower leaf, trembling before falling.
