Pancake Ice Field on Freezing Sea Valley

Round slabs of pancake ice float tightly packed across a wide valley floor where the sea has frozen solid. The gray discs, some with raised ridges, create a textured mosaic stretching toward distant mountains. Heavy overcast skies diffuse the midday light, casting a flat, even glow over the ice without distinct shadows. The color palette remains monochromatic, dominated by slate grays and muted whites. The ice sheets press against one another, forming a continuous, undulating surface that fills the frame. At the edge of the composition, a single ice floe rests against a dark patch of unfrozen water, marking the boundary of the frozen expanse.
