Night Mushroom Forager on Mountain Path

Silvery winter light spills across a steep mountain path near Sao Luis, illuminating a lone forager moving through the dry season woods. The figure wears a wide-brimmed hat and carries a woven basket, stepping carefully over exposed roots and scattered dry leaves. Tall grasses along the trail edge stand stiff and pale under the cold glow. Shadows stretch long and sharp against the earth, defining the uneven terrain. The path curves gently into the dark distance, flanked by sparse trees with bare branches reaching upward. A cluster of mushrooms near the forager's boots reflects the faint light, their caps smooth and rounded against the rough bark of nearby stumps. The ground appears dusted with fine ash or frost, catching the silver tone of the night sky.
