Mountain Hut Chimney Smoke Under Milky Way
by Freya Perez
Silvery winter light washes over a rustic stone hut nestled near San Marcos in the high Andes. A slender chimney on the roof releases a steady plume of gray smoke that drifts upward, dissolving into the vast, star-filled sky. The Milky Way stretches across the dark expanse above, its band of countless stars glowing faintly against the night. Below, a calm pool of water reflects the hut, the rising smoke, and the celestial canopy, creating a symmetrical composition where the sky meets the earth. Low haze lingers on the distant horizon, softening the outline of the mountains. The stone walls of the hut appear rough and weathered, against the smooth, dark surface of the water. A faint red glow from a window suggests warmth inside, visible as a small square of amber light against the cold stone.
