Morning Fog Burns Over Greek Vineyard Rows in along freshly irrigated rows in Greece

Morning Fog Burns Over Greek Vineyard Rows

by Maggie Beard

Cool dawn light washes over wet earth in a Greek vineyard, where rows of vines stretch straight into the distance. Fresh irrigation water glistens on the darkened soil, filling shallow ruts with small puddles that reflect the pale sky. A layer of thin fog drifts low between the vine lines, slowly lifting to reveal the rich, damp texture of the ground. The green leaves of the vines stand out against the brown earth, their surfaces heavy with moisture. As the fog burns off row by row, the scene transitions from a soft gray veil to a crisp view of the agricultural landscape. at the edge is a single droplet of water clinging to the tip of a vine leaf, trembling before falling.
