Pale morning light strikes the horizon haze, illuminating a delicate white frost line that descends slowly through the vineyard rows. Dark, wet soil fills the foreground, marked by deep ruts where water has pooled after recent rain. The tractor track cuts a straight path through the earth, leading toward the silhouetted vines standing stark against the brightening sky. Late autumn leaves have mostly fallen, leaving the trellis wires bare and sharp. The frost glistens on the lower canes, creating a thin, crystalline boundary between the frozen ground and the air above. A small puddle in a rut reflects the pale glow of the rising sun, mirroring the stark contrast between the cold earth and the warming sky.
