Olive Nets Under Twisted Trunks in Goa Vineyard

Soft, diffused morning light falls through the twisted, gnarled trunks of olive trees standing between vineyard trellises in Goa. Wide, pale green nets stretch taut beneath the canopy, ready to catch falling fruit with harvest-time urgency. Rain has just passed, leaving the rough bark glistening with moisture and the soil dark and heavy. A faint sea haze blurs the horizon, softening the background vines into pale silhouettes. The nets create a geometric grid against the organic chaos of the branches, their edges frayed from use. Tiny droplets rest on the fine mesh, catching the light in a scattered, sparkling pattern that emphasizes the texture of the woven fibers against the damp earth below.
