The warm orange flames flicker against the cool grey masonry, casting small, dancing shadows that stretch across the floor. A strip of pale window light cuts through the darkness, illuminating dust motes and the texture of the ancient stones. The path winds gently into the shadows, bordered by the steady, rhythmic glow of the oil lamps. At the far end, the light fades into the deep blue of the night, leaving only the faint outline of the stone archway.
