Honeyed evening light falls through the air, illuminating suspended dust particles that drift low above a glacial stream in Transylvania. A leaf beetle, its shell gleaming with metallic green, rests on the serrated edge of a nettle leaf. The view from behind casts the insect into a sharp silhouette against the bright, warm glow of the setting sun. The leaf's jagged texture stands out clearly, while the water below reflects the cool blue tones of the approaching turn of seasons. Fine hairs on the leaf surface catch the backlight, creating a glowing rim around the beetle's form. The dust motes swirl gently in the still air, marking the fragile quiet of the moment. One vein in the leaf ends in a tiny, translucent tip near the beetle's leg.
