Forget-me-nots Silhouetted Against Winter Sunset

Deep indigo shadows cloak a dense carpet of forget-me-nots along the curving edge of a stream bank. The setting sun dips low, casting a fierce, amber firelight that turns the delicate blue petals into dark, intricate silhouettes. Tall fern fronds line the background, their feathery edges sharp against the fading sky. Winter has stripped the surrounding vegetation, leaving the ground bare and cool, while the clear air allows the light to cut straight through the scene. The water reflects the intense orange glow, creating a mirror surface that contrasts with the matte texture of the silhouetted flowers. One frond leans forward, its tip touching the dark, wet soil near the water's edge.
