A solitary figure stands near the center, casting a long, dark shadow that tilts across the glistening ground. The air holds a brief sun shower, leaving droplets scattered on the crust and creating small, mirror-like pools that catch the light. In the background, the faint outlines of urban structures and trees suggest the proximity of Chinatown, Toronto, without overwhelming the vast emptiness of the flats. The wind has carved subtle ripples into the salt, adding texture to the otherwise smooth expanse.
