Reflected light from a nearby water feature washes over the curved tiled roof of a traditional Korean hanok house situated within the vast interior of a restored train terminal in Hangzhou. Late summer rain creates a fine mist that softens the sharp edges of the architecture while the wet surfaces amplify the contrast between the dark, glossy eaves and the pale, weathered wood of the walls. Converging lines of the terminal's steel beams guide toward a distant vanishing point, framing the structure against the high, industrial ceiling. Droplets rest on the eaves, catching the dim evening glow, while puddles on the floor mirror the intricate roof tiles above. The scene balances the organic curves of the hanok with the rigid geometry of the station's metal framework.
