Great White Shark Breaching Seal at Italian Rocky Shelf

Hard midday coastal glare fractures the water surface, illuminating a great white shark mid-breach as it clamps a seal in its jaws. Thick kelp fronds frame the action, swaying near a rugged rocky shelf characteristic of the Italian coastline. Early autumn light creates a sharp contrast between the shark's grey dorsal side and the bright, churning foam. A soft plankton haze blurs the distant background, lending depth to the chaotic moment. The shark's teeth gleam white against the dark water, while the seal's silver scales flash briefly in the sun before vanishing beneath the waves. Water droplets hang suspended in the air around the predator's snout.
