Golden Hour Light on Railway Engine Shed

Low autumn sunlight streams through the glass roof of a converted railway engine shed, casting long, sharp shadows across the concrete floor. The warm golden glow illuminates dust particles suspended in the metallic haze that lingers above the work area. Rust-colored steel beams crisscross the ceiling, against the cool gray of the scaffold platform where the view originates. Weathered surfaces show the texture of labor, with peeling paint and grease stains visible on the machinery. Late autumn light hits the edges of the structure, highlighting the jagged lines of the roof trusses against the softening sky. One shadow of a railing stretches across the dusty floor, ending abruptly at a pile of scrap metal.
