Golden Eagle Dives Over Misty Glacial Stream Kyoto

Soft afternoon light falls through thick mist hovering over a glacial stream winding through late spring woods near Kyoto. A golden eagle dominates the wide panoramic frame, wings swept back in a steep dive toward the churning water. Feathers along the wings show deep browns and lighter golden tips, catching the damp air. Below, the stream cuts a silver path through mossy banks dotted with fresh green ferns and fallen petals. White water splashes where the current hits submerged rocks, creating a frothy contrast against the dark, wet stones. The bird's sharp yellow talons extend forward, poised to break the surface. One droplet hangs from a fern frond at the very edge of the frame, reflecting the gray sky.
