Turquoise and rust-colored mineral pools cluster along a steep valley floor, their surfaces shimmering under the harsh, flat glare of noon. Thick ground fog blankets the lower slopes, obscuring the forest below while leaving the hot springs exposed like scattered jewels. The water displays distinct bands of ochre, cream, and deep teal where thermal runoff meets cooler rainwater. Steaming vents rise subtly from the darker pools, merging with the low-hanging mist.
