Golden Dome Reflection in Misty Sacred Pool

First light washes over carved stone beneath a pagoda roof, illuminating a golden dome that floats above a surrounding sacred pool. The dome's reflection shimmers in the water, distorted by thick mist rising from the cool season air. Giant mushroom caps, the size of umbrellas, cluster on the ground among ordinary stone slabs and wooden beams. Their stems are thick and textured, against the smooth, wet surface of the pool. Leading lines of the stone pavement draw toward the glowing reflection. The mist softens the edges of the pagoda's eaves while the golden dome remains sharply defined. One shadow falls across the wet stone near the largest mushroom cap.
