The metal surface is dark with moisture, showing scratches and grease stains from recent handling. In the center of the frame, the cup emits a steady, pale blue light from its hollow interior, casting a soft glow onto the surrounding mud and the lower edges of nearby tires. No flame or bulb is visible, yet the illumination pushes back the gray noon haze. Leading lines formed by the convoy tires and wet tire tracks guide the eye directly to this luminous object. The light reflects sharply in the puddles, creating distorted circles of blue against the gray earth.
