Excavator Bucket and Train Car in Amazon Rain

Mud slicks the ground beneath a rusted excavator bucket resting beside a steel trench box under a canopy of low-hanging monsoon clouds. Deep night settles over the Amazon access road, where faint ground glow illuminates the wet, churning earth. Starlight pierces the heavy cloud layer, casting pale highlights on the corrugated metal siding of a passenger train car embedded directly into the muddy embankment. The train car sits level with the trench, its windows dark and silent, defying the logic of the construction site. Converging lines of the road and machinery guide toward a distant vanishing point where the rain seems to dissolve into the darkness. One droplet rests on the edge of the excavator bucket, reflecting the faint starlight above.
