Overhead, faint ground glow competes with the harsh artificial floodlights, creating stark contrasts between deep shadow and blinding brightness. Leading lines of the curb guide toward the dark street where headlights cut through the mist. The damp air rests on the concrete, marked by the recent presence of a passenger who vanished into the night. A puddle near the shelter's corner mirrors the flickering fluorescent sign above.
