Galapagos Iguana Cactus Dinner Near Manila Stream

Golden evening light wraps around a Galapagos land iguana perched on a mossy rock beside a glacial stream. The reptile grips a green cactus pad with scaly, clawed feet, its jaws clamped on the succulent flesh. Wet stones glisten under the low horizon sun, reflecting the humid air lingering after rain. The iguana's rough, armored scales shift from olive to rust as the sun dips. Behind it, the Intramuros stone wall rises faintly against the sky, at the base of the scene in Manila's historic landscape. one drop of water rests on the edge of the cactus pad, trembling before falling into the stream below.
