Frozen Lead Type Falling in Abandoned Sandvika Shop
Late autumn afternoon light falls through high industrial windows into a machine shop near Sandvika, casting a soft, diffused glow over the concrete floor. Rows of abandoned printing presses stand as silent, utilitarian giants against the walls. Hundreds of lead type pieces hang suspended in midair at various heights, frozen perfectly still as if time has halted. Some blocks dangle inches above the ground, while others cluster in chaotic arcs. The metal surfaces gleam with a dull, heavy luster under the overcast sky. Outside, a light drizzle blurs the glass panes, against the dry, motionless dust motes floating near the suspended characters. One brass letter 'A' rests on the floor, untouched by the falling chaos above.
