Frost Line Intake Reservoir Night Sodium Light

Deep indigo night sky hangs over the steel intake structure of the Ikere reservoir, where sodium-vapor lamps cast a thick, orange glow across the structural framework. A sharp frost line marks the lower steel beams, against the damp, rainy-season air. Ground fog pools heavily in the crevices between the concrete base and the metal supports, obscuring the foundation. The vertical ladder on the adjacent water tower disappears into the darkness above. Rusted rivets and heavy girders define the civic-scale austerity of the scene. Orange light reflects off the wet, cold surfaces of the intake pipes. at the edge is the way the fog obscures the base of the ladder, leaving only the glowing steel visible above the mist.
