Fog Halos Streetlamps Northern Territory Night in in Northern Territory

Fog Halos Streetlamps Northern Territory Night

by Ruth Morrow

Silvery winter light falls through thick fog, softening a diagonal row of streetlamps into glowing halos against the dark sky. Bare eucalyptus branches emerge from the mist along the roadside, their rough bark visible where the light touches. Wet asphalt reflects the faint glow, showing small cracks and debris scattered across the surface. Shadows stretch long and soft, merging with the fog at the edge of the frame. Each lamp post stands tall, its metal surface dull under the winter haze. The diagonal alignment of the lights creates a sharp tension across the scene. A wet patch near the curb mirrors the silver glow from the nearest lamp.
