Headlight Trail and Drifting Smoke Under Dawn Sky

Silvery winter light washes over a dark road in Equatorial Guinea during the still hours before dawn. A long streak of white headlight cuts horizontally across the wet asphalt, its glow softened by a thin veil of drifting smoke that hangs suspended in the cool, still air. Above, the sky is a deep, clear indigo, devoid of clouds except for the faint, ghostly presence of a brief sun shower evaporating instantly against the night. Puddles on the ground reflect the light trail and smoke, creating a perfect mirrored composition where the road seems to double in depth. The moisture on the pavement catches the silver light, turning the surface into a sheet of dark glass. At the edge of the frame, a single droplet clings to a roadside leaf, waiting to fall.
