Deep shadow envelops the underground service tunnel beneath transmission towers in Oujda, where a cable splice chamber glows with harsh fluorescent white light. Water droplets rest on the concrete walls, reflecting the artificial illumination against the dark dampness of late spring. The symmetrical architecture frames the heavy industrial cabling neatly bundled within the recessed alcove. Rim light outlines the structural edges, separating the metallic components from the surrounding gloom. Rain begins to fall outside, visible as a fine mist catching the light at the tunnel entrance. The concrete floor shows wet patches mirroring the overhead fixtures. One cable connector sits centered in the chamber, its plastic casing gleaming under the sterile glow.
