Silhouetted Cement Silos in Luanda Turbine Hall

Deep indigo sky presses against the upper edges of steel silos and conveyor belts rising inside a turbine hall near Luanda. Wet season clouds diffuse the last light, casting the massive machinery into dark, flat silhouettes. Metallic haze lingers in the air above the floor, blurring the boundaries between the structures and the dim background. Recent rain leaves puddles on the concrete surface, reflecting faint ambient glow. A Dutch angle tilt forces the horizon to slant sharply, making the industrial forms lean aggressively toward the right. Rust patches scar the metal surfaces beside smooth, wet concrete. Shadows stretch across the damp ground, ending at the jagged outline of a conveyor belt arm resting on the floor.
