Floating Aluminum in Anodizing Tank Dawn

Pale morning light reflects off smooth, pale walls to illuminate a wooden workbench surface in San Salvador de Jujuy. A rectangular anodizing tank filled with clear, bubbling acid holds several aluminum components. Gravity has partially failed, suspending the metal pieces in midair above the liquid surface. The components hang at varying heights, their edges catching the soft, indirect glow. Bubbles rise from the submerged parts while the floating ones remain untouched by the fluid. The wooden grain of the bench runs horizontally beneath the tank, at the base of the impossible suspension. Salt-air freshness seems present in the clean, uncluttered space, with no other objects visible near the tank's rim. One droplet rests on the lowest floating edge, defying the upward pull.
