A massive stone bridge with five rounded arches dominates the frame, its weathered gray blocks resting on sturdy piers that cut through the wet season mist rising from the river below. The structure spans a formal civic plaza where smooth pavement runs directly toward the central span. Distant town glow punctuates the horizon with soft amber and violet lights, contrasting against the deepening blue of the early evening sky. Moisture rests on the stone surfaces, highlighting the rough texture of the masonry and the damp sheen of the water. The arches create a rhythmic pattern of shadow and light, while the mist softens the far bank into a pale, indistinct wash. at the edge is the sharp reflection of the bridge's lowest arch rim on the glassy, still surface of the river.
