Silent Rowboat on Chad Pond at Blue Hour

Deep indigo shadows cloak a wooden rowboat resting among dense green lily pads on a stagnant pond in Chad. A faint rim of pale blue light traces the curved gunwale and the oarlocks, separating the dark hull from the water. The surface reflects the fading sky, broken only by the floating pads. Low dust hangs in the air just above the water, catching the last ambient glow. Long, dark shadows stretch across the lily pads, leading toward the distant, flat horizon where the earth meets the twilight sky. The wood grain is visible only where the rim light grazes the edge, revealing weathered texture against the smooth, dark water.
