Deep blue evening light fills the roofless nave of an abandoned Oklahoma industrial building, leaving the interior in heavy shadow while a sharp rim of sky illuminates the upper walls. Three figures in dark gear balance across a narrow wooden plank spanning a pool of stagnant water that reflects the clear autumn sky above. The water surface is still, mirroring the dark silhouettes of the explorers and the rusted steel beams overhead. Patches of green moss rest on the damp concrete floor beside the plank, and fallen oak leaves float on the water's edge. The team moves slowly, their boots pressing against the wet wood, while the open roof reveals a vast expanse of cloudless twilight. One rusted bolt on the plank's edge catches the faint light.
