Crosswalk Countdown Reflection in Zabrze Rain

Flickering fluorescent light from an underpass casts a fractured glow over wet asphalt in Zabrze. A red digital countdown timer for a pedestrian crossing reflects upside down in a pool of black rainwater. The dry season leaves the pavement slick rather than muddy, with silver drizzle catching the distant town glow on the horizon. Cool blue evening light washes over the scene, against the warm orange hazard of the crossing signal. The reflection distorts the numbers, turning them into shimmering red liquid. A small puddle at the edge of the frame holds a perfect, inverted image of the timer above.
