Steam rises in thick white plumes from street grates beneath the elevated train tracks, obscuring the wet asphalt of a Cardiff intersection. A chrome car hood dominates the foreground, its polished surface mirroring a red digital countdown timer from the crosswalk signal above. Deep shadows cloak the lower vehicle frame, while a sharp rim of cool daylight catches the curved edge of the metal. The reflection shows the timer's glowing numbers against the dark, rainy sky. Raindrops bead on the hood, distorting the city lights that begin to glow in the background. One crack in the pavement runs alongside the reflection.
