Deep shadows swallow the space beneath the concrete overpass while a flickering overhead bulb casts a harsh, intermittent glow on the crowd. Dozens of commuters huddle tightly under the awning, their silhouettes sharp against the street beyond. Rain falls steadily, turning the asphalt into a sheet of silvered reflections that mirror the fractured light. The Dutch angle tilt tilts the heavy concrete beams diagonally across the frame, enhancing the sense of unease. Wet fabric clings to shoulders, and the metallic sheen of umbrellas catches the strobe-like illumination. A puddle at the edge of the frame ripples with each drop, distorting the reflection of a distant neon sign.
