Honey-colored window light spills across a glass prism resting on a weathered metal railing. The glass catches the fading afternoon glow, fracturing the beam into sharp bands of amber and soft orange that stretch across the cold steel. Late autumn shadows lengthen behind the object, showing the clean, uncluttered surface of the pier.
