Clownfish Family Hiding in Anemone Near Cairns

Hard noon light penetrates the blue water, illuminating suspended particles that glitter like scattered diamond dust around a giant carpet anemone anchored to a coral wall. Three orange and white clownfish cluster tightly within the anemone's thick, translucent tentacles, their bodies pressed against the swaying, fleshy columns. The anemone's base spreads wide across the rough, textured reef surface, its pale pink and green hues against the deep azure background. The water remains clear yet filled with drifting specks that catch the direct overhead glare, creating a shimmering veil. The fish remain motionless, their vibrant stripes sharp against the soft, undulating tissue of their shelter, while the coral wall behind them displays rugged, porous structures in muted browns and grays.
