Bridge Section on Transport Stands at Shikoku Parade Ground

Thick grey steel of a military engineer bridge section rests on four heavy transport stands, positioned on a gravel parade ground. Late afternoon light breaks through heavy overcast skies, creating flat illumination across the metallic surface. Rust streaks run vertically down the painted beams, against the dull grey paint. The gravel beneath scatters light in varying shades of beige and brown, with small stones visible near the base of the stands. Distant trees line the horizon, their leaves showing the deep green of late summer. The perspective looks directly over the rear edge of the bridge, emphasizing its length. A small patch of oil stains darkens the gravel near the base of the nearest stand.
