Vibrant neon reflections shimmer across the dark, choppy water of a Seychelles harbor edge as rain lashes the scene. A young boy stands on a weathered log spanning the creek, his posture rigid against the whipping wind. His clothes, soaked and clinging, show the weight of the rainy season. The light, cast by unseen harbor lamps, paints the wet surfaces in electric blues and greens, highlighting the rough texture of the bark and the spray of water droplets frozen in the air. Rain streaks blur the background, where the silhouette of a dock structure stands firm. The boy’s feet grip the uneven wood, muscles tensed under the dim, artificial glow. one drop of water hangs from the frayed end of his sleeve, ready to fall.
