Cyclist Light Trail Through Harbor Fog at Sunset
Rain-slicked cobblestones of the Hadejia harbor quay reflect the deep orange glow of the setting sun as a brief shower passes overhead. A lone cyclist moves diagonally across the frame, their rear red light stretching into a continuous, glowing streak through the thick, wet fog. The atmosphere hangs heavy with suspended water droplets that soften the distant masts of docked boats and the wooden pilings of the quay. The cyclist wears a dark, rain-dampened jacket, their posture low and focused against the diagonal pull of the composition. The horizon line curves slightly, wrapped in a band of fading golden light that pierces the grey mist. At the bottom edge, the red light trail ends abruptly against the wet stone, leaving a sharp, saturated line of color that contrasts with the cool, grey tones of the surrounding water and sky.
