Black Umbrellas Queue Neon Arcade Merida

Cool blues and magentas from neon tubes illuminate the wet pavement along the edge of a glass venue in Merida. Deep shadows pool around a row of black umbrellas standing in monsoon season. Twilight light carves sharp rim edges across the curved canopies, separating the dark shapes from the interior. Neon reflections glide faintly on the polished ground and the glass walls. The umbrellas align with taut fabric, their black surfaces contrasting against the glowing arcade. Water beads rest on the nearest rim, sliding down the fabric. A wet drop hangs from the edge of the closest canopy, catching the neon glow.
