Trash Bags Pile Monsoon Alley Los Guayos

Silver rain streaks the wet asphalt of a Los Guayos back alley, reflecting the harsh, flat glare of noon. A mound of black and white trash bags sits haphazardly against the base of a shuttered arcade, their plastic surfaces slick with monsoon drizzle. Sunlight ricochets off distant bus windows and glass panes, casting sharp, blinding highlights that contrast with the deep shadows under the arcade's overhang. The pavement glistens with a thin sheet of water, mirroring the gray sky and the dull textures of the refuse pile. Small puddles gather around the crumpled plastic sacks, while the metal shutters of the shops remain closed and silent. one drop of water slides down the side of a torn bag, merging into the wet concrete.
