Amber Lit Fire Hydrant Autumn Leaves

Wet asphalt shimmers under the deep orange glow of a streetlamp, creating a slick mirror for the night sky above. A red fire hydrant stands firmly at the corner of a metro entrance in Tarija, its painted metal catching the light in sharp, glossy patches. Drifting autumn leaves, mostly brown and yellow, rest on the puddles and rest against the hydrant's base. The rain has left the ground saturated, reflecting the amber light in long, distorted streaks that guide toward the dark tunnel mouth behind the structure. Water droplets bead on the hydrant's bolts, while the surrounding pavement glistens with a thin film of moisture. The scene is defined by the contrast between the bright, warm illumination and the deep shadows of the unlit night.
