Aerial Barrier Reef View Low Sun Horizon

Pale morning light strikes the horizon haze, illuminating suspended particles that glitter within the water column of a barrier reef. From high altitude, the wide panoramic view reveals the rhythmic patterns of the reef structure beneath the surface. The water transitions from deep indigo to translucent turquoise where the low sun penetrates. Above the waterline, a wind-cut ridge rises sharply, topped with fluttering prayer flags that mark the location near Lhasa. Early spring air clears the sky, allowing the first light to wash over the scene. The texture of the water shifts from smooth glass to rippled ripples, catching the glow. One shadow of a ridge peak falls across the reef edge, defining the boundary between land and sea.
