White Enamel Plant Pot in Havana

A small white enamel plant pot sits on a rough concrete ledge in Havana, Cuba, under the flat gray light of an overcast midday. The pot holds a single green succulent whose fleshy leaves catch the diffused light without casting sharp shadows. Raindrops rest on the rim of the chipped ceramic, blending with the wet texture of the aged stucco wall behind it. One drop of water slides slowly down the curved side of the pot toward the damp concrete surface below.
