Enamel Mug in Havana

One white enamel mug sits on a rough wooden table under the flat, shadowless light of noon in Havana. The table surface shows deep scratches and a dark water ring left by the mug's cold base. Behind the mug, a wall of peeling pink plaster reveals layers of older paint colors beneath the surface. A small, dark insect crawls slowly along the rim of the mug, adding a touch of life to the still scene.
