Wet Stone Ghat Steps Reflecting Sky After Monsoon

Stained light falls through colored glass panels, casting patches of deep amber and cool violet onto the slick, dark stone of the ghat steps. The wet surfaces act as a mirror, perfectly inverting the pale blue sky and the soft, distant haze hovering low on the horizon. Each rectangular step is worn smooth by centuries of use, glistening with residual monsoon water that catches the fractured colors. The composition stands in rigid symmetry, drawing the eye down the descending line of stone toward the sacred pool's edge. Moss rests on the damp crevices between blocks, adding a touch of emerald against the gray rock. at the edge is a sharp, distorted reflection of the glass pattern rippling slightly in a shallow puddle on the lowest tread.
