The saddle shows deep oil stains and cracks from years of use, against the smooth, reflective surface of the furniture. Pale autumn colors filter through the indirect light, highlighting the texture of the aged hide and the grain of the wood. Small highlights dance across the polished wood edges where the light strikes. The frame captures only the object and the immediate surface, showing the quiet stillness of the room. One scratch runs along the saddle's edge, marking the passage of time on the leather.
